Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Vasiliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Autumn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasiliev comes to the cage accompanied by Zombie by The Cranberries. Autumn has chosen Dixie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Autumn throws a jab but it's blocked by Vasiliev.
Vasiliev walks forward, straight into a front kick from Autumn.
Vasiliev throws a series of punches but Autumn moves out of range.
Autumn thows a body shot but no joy.
Vasiliev throws a leg kick that is checked
and Autumn counters with a low kick, right behind Vasiliev 's knee.
Oleg Vasiliev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasiliev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Autumn counters with an inside leg kick.
Vasiliev swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Autumn is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Autumn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Autumn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vasiliev moves away.
Vasiliev is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vasiliev throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Autumn makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Vasiliev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Autumn manages to avoid it.
Autumn stalks Vasiliev and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vasiliev's face. Vasiliev staggers backwards, shaken.
Autumn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vasiliev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Autumn counters with a thumping low kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Autumn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vasiliev. That did some damage!

Augustus Autumn is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
