Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julz The Jackal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Jackal comes to the cage accompanied by The Jackal. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julz The Jackal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leon Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy looks to score with a jab to the body but The Jackal is just out of range. Kennedy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kennedy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from The Jackal. The Jackal tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kennedy swats him away and circles back towards the center. The Jackal tries to land a leg kick but Kennedy saw it coming and moves away.
The Jackal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kennedy tries to avoid it but The Jackal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kennedy to the ground. Kennedy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kennedy shoots in but no luck this time. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kennedy. The Jackal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The Jackal scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The Jackal throws a strike but Kennedy avoids it easily and moves to full guard. The Jackal trying to control but Kennedy is working from the bottom. Kennedy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kennedy passes to side control. The Jackal tries to bench press Kennedy off him but Kennedy keeps the position. The Jackal avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kennedy. The Jackal is trying to control Kennedy's posture but Kennedy avoids it. The Jackal tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kennedy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The strikes coming from Kennedy are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The Jackal is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kennedy decides to stand back up. Kennedy steps back and let's The Jackal get back to his feet. The Jackal instigates a clinch. The Jackal tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kennedy just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julz The Jackal. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Jackal is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kennedy pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kennedy is looking to break free of the clinch but The Jackal has double underhooks. Kennedy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The Jackal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kennedy but Kennedy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The Jackal takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Jackal is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kennedy is looking to clinch but The Jackal is avoiding it.
The Jackal drops his hands momentarily and Kennedy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Left hook, right uppercut from Kennedy. The Jackal fails with an attempt to clinch.
The Jackal shoots in looking for a takedown but Kennedy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing The Jackal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The Jackal wants to clinch up but Kennedy keeps it at a distance. The Jackal tries to clinch there but Kennedy circles away.
Kennedy throws a head kick but The Jackal moves out of range.
Kennedy closes the distance and lands a one-two. Kennedy throws a hook but The Jackal avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kennedy fails with a takedown attempt. Kennedy looks winded! The Jackal fails to land the takedown. The Jackal is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kennedy closes the distance and clinches up with The Jackal, looking for a takedown. Kennedy pushes The Jackal against the cage but The Jackal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kennedy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sloppy strikes from The Jackal. Those never looked like landing. The Jackal is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The Jackal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Leon Kennedy will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kennedy throws a head kick that misses. Kennedy tries to clinch but The Jackal moves out of range. Kennedy tries to score a power double leg takedown but The Jackal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kennedy somewhat. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Jackal as he avoids it easily. The Jackal drives through and clinches with Kennedy against the cage.
The Jackal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kennedy tries for a takedown but The Jackal sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Julz The Jackal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Kennedy. The Jackal dives in and scores a takedown into Kennedy's guard. The Jackal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kennedy is breathing heavily. Kennedy looking for submissions from the bottom but instead The Jackal passes into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kennedy wants to control but The Jackal is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Jackal thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The Jackal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kennedy keeps working. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Julz The Jackal. The Jackal wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kennedy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around The Jackal's waist but The Jackal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kennedy off to one side. Kennedy tries to clinch but The Jackal moves out of range. The Jackal closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The Jackal stands up and beckons Kennedy to join him on the feet. The Jackal decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Julz The Jackal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kennedy is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Jackal stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kennedy to get to his feet. The Jackal shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Jackal is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kennedy defends it well. The Jackal stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. The Jackal shoots in for a double leg but Kennedy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The Jackal circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kennedy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kennedy wants it to stay on the feet. Julz The Jackal dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Kennedy throws a series of punches but The Jackal avoids them all with ease. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Jackal sprawls well. The Jackal wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kennedy gets slowly back to his feet. The Jackal slips a straight right by Kennedy. The Jackal leaves Kennedy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The Jackal closes the distance and clinches up with Kennedy, looking for a takedown. The Jackal pushes Kennedy against the cage but Kennedy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The Jackal tries to close the distance and clinch but Kennedy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kennedy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The Jackal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown but The Jackal shows good takedown defense. Julz The Jackal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Kennedy. Kennedy tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Jackal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A big right from Kennedy misses. The Jackal looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Kennedy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The Jackal wants to control from the top but Kennedy keeps moving. The Jackal has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The Jackal is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Jackal lands a couple of decent looking shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kennedy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Jackal gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The Jackal wants to control from the top but Kennedy keeps moving. The Jackal is really struggling to control Kennedy but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Jackal won't allow Kennedy to sweep him here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Julz The Jackal wasn't doing enough on the ground. The Jackal drives through with a takedown into Kennedy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The Jackal trying to control but Kennedy is working from the bottom. Kennedy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The Jackal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kennedy on the ground. Kennedy keeping moving, preventing The Jackal from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Jackal tries to free his leg and advance position but Kennedy is retaining full guard. The Jackal preventing the sweep. The Jackal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kennedy is keeping the position for now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The Jackal is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kennedy looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Jackal is one step ahead there.
And that's the end of the fight! Julz The Jackal showed his dominance in that final round. I think The Jackal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Julz The Jackal! Julz The Jackal spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
