Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Toast Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Rik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes to the cage accompanied by POWDERED... TOAST... MAAAAAAAAANN!!!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rik's choice of entrance music: The walking dead. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Rik.
Rik shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Man throws a shot from downtown. Rik moves away and avoids it.
Man throws out a loose jab but Rik uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rik shoots in but Man avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Man throws an overhand right that lands on Rik's shoulder, as Rik tries to avoid the shot.
Man throws a body punch but Rik moves out of range.
Man is looking to slow Rik down with leg kicks.
Man connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rik momentarily.
Rik misses with a hook. Man ducked under it nicely.
Man throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rik counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Man takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Man smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Man moves away from the strike by Rik.

Rik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A swing and a miss from Man.
Rik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Man was well out of range. Poor timing from Rik.
Man scores with a jab. Rik acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Man throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Man throws a hook but Rik blocks it.
Man misses with an uppercut. Rik saw that one coming.
Rik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Man tries to avoid it but Rik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Man to the ground. Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Toast Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Rik.

A lazy left from Man finds it's target.
Rik has a takedown stuffed.
Rik shoots for a takedown but Man saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Rik fails with an attempt to clinch.
Man connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rik. Rik circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Man will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Man throws a front kick aimed at Rik's knee but Rik avoids it well.
Man loads up on a big right hand but Rik slips the punch.
Man just misses with a punch to the body.
Man gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rik to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Man is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rik is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Toast Man wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Rik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Man is fending him off so far but Rik persists. Nope, Man circles away and we're back to standing.
Rik tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Man manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Man throws a body punch but Rik moves out of range.
Man fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rik checks it well.

and Rik counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Man's guard.
