Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tournament Champion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McManus has chosen Shipping up to Boston as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McManus gets a double leg takedown into Champion's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
McManus trying to control the position from guard on top but Champion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McManus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Champion is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
McManus with a flurry of punches that miss.
Champion has McManus pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

McManus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

McManus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Champion does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McManus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Champion keeps working.

Champion on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Champion tries to get out of the position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Champion looks up at the clock and then as McManus takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Champion smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Champion is staying tight to McManus's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McManus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Champion's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Champion throwing shots but McManus is blocking nicely.
Champion is trying to control the action in half guard but McManus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Champion working over McManus with some ground and pound. McManus looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
McManus wants to control but Champion is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Champion working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
McManus regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Champion.

McManus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McManus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Champion is nestled in close to McManus, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Champion passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for McManus!
Champion postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McManus looks a forlorn figure.
McManus is looking to improve his position but Champion isn't that keen on the idea.

Champion is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Champion lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Champion takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Champion cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Champion lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tournament Champion showed his dominance in that final round.
I think McManus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
