Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeans MacManan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Welch. Those never looked like landing.
Welch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Welch throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent MacManan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
MacManan throws a head kick that misses
enabling Welch to counter with a crisp jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from MacManan is defended easily by Welch.
Welch scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
MacManan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
MacManan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Welch's guard.
MacManan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Welch wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
MacManan prevents Welch from getting back to his feet.

Welch wants to sweep but no luck.
MacManan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jeans MacManan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
MacManan has Welch up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Welch's face as he tries to break the clinch.
MacManan is stalling here.
Welch is trying to force a seperation but MacManan has the dominant position.
MacManan is trying to break the clinch but Welch is controlling him.
Welch is fighting off a takedown attempt but MacManan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Welch to the mat. Welch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

MacManan prevents Welch from getting back to his feet.
Welch is working an open guard so MacManan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
MacManan throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Welch counter with a right hand.
Welch lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Welch throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
MacManan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
MacManan moves into the clinch successfully.
Welch is looking to break free of the clinch but MacManan has double underhooks.
MacManan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Welch uses from the top position.

MacManan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Welch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but MacManan is tightening it up a little... Welch has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Welch reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Welch taps out! Nice BJJ there by MacManan!
