Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Wulf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathan Wulf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carl Jackson! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wulf moves into range and clinches up with Jackson. Jackson wants to get back to striking at distance but Wulf won't allow it.
Wulf just leaning against Jackson, taking a breather. Jackson successfully pulls guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Wulf stays in close to Jackson's body and controls the position. Jackson tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wulf stands up from guard. Let's bang! Wulf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wulf shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wulf's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wulf has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Wulf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wulf shoots in and drives through. Jackson sprawls well. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wulf throws a series of punches but Jackson avoids them all with ease. Wulf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson counters with an outside leg kick.
Wulf is breathing heavily. Wulf attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Wulf.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wulf tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wulf fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away. Wulf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Wulf shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jackson. Wulf is not content to let Jackson control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson advances to mount. Jackson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jackson controlling his opponent. Wulf tries to reverse the position but Jackson maintains control. Jackson tries to stand up but Wulf grabs his leg and drags him down! Wulf is now on top, in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The strikes coming from Wulf are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson wants to get back to his feet. Jackson is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jackson struggling a bit here. A lull in the action here as Wulf stalls from top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Jackson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jackson stuffs the takedown. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wulf is defended easily by Jackson. A decent looking body kick lands there for Jackson. Jackson misses with a double jab.
Jackson tries to clinch up but Wulf circles away and keeps his distance. Wulf closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Wulf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wulf looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wulf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wulf is trying to stand up here but Jackson is controlling him well. Jackson gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Wulf tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wulf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wulf's guard. Jackson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson won't allow Wulf to sweep him here. Wulf keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Jackson pushing down on Wulf's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wulf is looking to escape. Wulf wants to get back to full guard. Wulf is staying active underneath Jackson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wulf haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Wulf has a hand on Jackson's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Jackson takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Jackson trying to control but Wulf is having none of it. Wulf tries to hold on but Jackson postures up. Jackson controlling from the full mount. Wulf wants to control but Jackson is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wulf is squirming around, avoiding Jackson's attempts to control the action. Wulf is in all sorts of trouble here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wulf wants to hold on but Jackson pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That's going to take a lot out of Carl Jackson. Wulf is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck for Jackson with that takedown attempt. Nathan Wulf is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wulf stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jackson. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wulf is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Wulf shows good takedown defense. Carl Jackson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wulf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wulf somewhat. Jackson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wulf avoids it really well and circles away. Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Wulf fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wulf slips under a jab from Jackson. Wulf tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackson throws a right and a left that Wulf avoids nicely. Wulf fails with a takedown attempt. Jackson moves into the clinch successfully.
Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jackson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Wulf has his hands clasped together but Jackson extends an breaks Wulf's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jackson.
