Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Altair Ibn La Ahad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Io Thyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thyer tries to clinch up but Ibn La Ahad circles away and keeps his distance.
Thyer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ibn La Ahad counters with a single leg into guard. Thyer didn't expect that.
Ibn La Ahad is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thyer is looking to stand up but Ibn La Ahad isn't so interested in that idea.

Thyer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ibn La Ahad does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
