Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Helio James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Denke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit Eat You Alive. The crowd seem to be enjoying Denke's choice of entrance music: Runnin With The Devil. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denke misses with a head kick.

James takes a shot right to the bread basket.
James looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Denke pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

James drives through and clinches with Denke against the cage.

Denke has had enough of the clinch but James keeps him there for the moment.

James tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Denke was well out of range. Poor timing from James.

Denke throws a front kick that sends James stumbling back into the cage.
Denke takes a shot to the body in his stride.
James lands a head kick. Denke smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
James scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
James throws out a loose jab but Denke uses good head movement to avoid it.

A looping hook to the body misses from James. Denke does a little dance to reset his feet.
A head kick from Denke lands but James takes it in his stride.

James is looking to wear down Denke with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Denke dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on James. That did some damage!

Denke is sneakily working for an arm triangle but James sees it coming and defends easily.
James is pressing down on Denke's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
James has his foot on Denke's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Denke works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Helio James will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Denke is pulling down on James's head. It's preventing any offense from James, at least for the moment.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! James crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Denke - the referee stops the clock and James gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Denke. James manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
