Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skinny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Cormier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
30 - 42 - 1, fighting out of New York, Skinny Boy!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Boy manages to avoid it.
Boy throws a wild body kick that Cormier sees coming a mile off.
Cormier connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Skinny Boy has been cut.
Cormier misses with a looping left.
Cormier misses with a body shot.
Boy slips under a jab.
Cormier throws a hook but Boy avoids it easily.
Boy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cormier throws out the jab.
Boy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boy slips a straight right by Cormier.
Cormier cracks Boy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big left from Cormier misses.
Cormier throws an overhand right that lands on Boy's shoulder, as Boy tries to avoid the shot.
Boy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Boy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cormier does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cormier moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Boy works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cormier knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground.
Boy trying to pass the guard but Cormier defending well.
Boy is looking for a kimura but Cormier is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boy to get the leverage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cormier avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Boy.
Boy wants to work for an arm triangle but Cormier is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Cormier is staying active underneath Boy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Cormier is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boy works his foot free and advances to mount.
Cormier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Boy misses with a head shot.
Boy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cormier is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cormier flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Boy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cormier and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Boy slips an arm under Cormier chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Boy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Boy is squeezing on Cormier like an anaconda would it's prey. Cormier fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Skinny Boy!
