Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago has chosen Antonin Dvorak- Symphony 9 as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Drago cracks Silva with a right hand to the side of the head.

and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut.
Drago looks to land a left hand but Silva moved out of range nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drago tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close round but I would say that Renato Silva will probably get the nod.

Drago fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
