The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KIllcrone gets a takedown into half guard.

and Adams counters by clinching up.

Adams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. KIllcrone just stands there and leans against the cage.
Adams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
KIllcrone shoots in for a takedown but Adams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Adams tries to close the distance and clinch but KIllcrone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

KIllcrone shoots in looking for a takedown but Adams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing KIllcrone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

KIllcrone jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Adams walks away with a smile on his face. KIllcrone gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Adams throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

KIllcrone is trying to break the clinch but Adams has him pressed against the cage.
KIllcrone has had enough of the clinch but Adams keeps him there for the moment.
Adams lands with a left to the head.
Adams lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Adams breaks the clinch.
Adams gets caught flat footed, as KIllcrone shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
KIllcrone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Adams's head.
Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with KIllcrone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Adams shoots in looking for a takedown. KIllcrone tries to sprawl out of it but Adams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. KIllcrone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

KIllcrone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

KIllcrone shoots for a takedown but Adams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
KIllcrone tries to land a front kick but Adams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Adams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? KIllcrone is fending him off so far but Adams persists. Nope, KIllcrone circles away and we're back to standing.

Adams throws a big right hand that misses.
KIllcrone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Adams throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
KIllcrone wants to get back to his feet but Adams is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Adams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Adams is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. KIllcrone doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Adams.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Adams connects with a nice short shot to KIllcrone's temple.
Adams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Adams wants to take a breather but KIllcrone is having none of it.
KIllcrone is trying to stand back up but Adams is controlling him

KIllcrone throws Adams to one side and escapes!
Adams steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from KIllcrone. That one must have hurt.
KIllcrone keeps Adams at a distance using the push kick.
KIllcrone misses with a double jab
and Adams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Adams shoots in but no luck this time.
Adams throws a right and a left that KIllcrone avoids nicely.
Justin Adams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Alex KIllcrone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
KIllcrone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Justin Adams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well KIllcrone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
