Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Pryor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Brentnall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eddie Pryor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Josh Brentnall! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pryor wants to clinch. A combination from Pryor does no damage. Brentnall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Brentnall pulls Pryor into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Brentnall looking for a sweep. Not yet Brentnall, not yet. Brentnall working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pryor. Pryor wants to control from the top but Brentnall keeps moving. Pryor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brentnall wants to get back to his feet but Pryor passes into half guard.
Pryor looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brentnall trying to control here.
Pryor is trying to control. Brentnall wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Pryor could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Brentnall is trying to get back to full guard. Brentnall is trying to maintain the position but Pryor is very close to passing his half guard. Pryor prevents Brentnall from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brentnall has one foot on Pryor's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Brentnall misses with a head kick.
Brentnall fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Brentnall fails with a takedown attempt. Brentnall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brentnall wants it to stay on the feet. Josh Brentnall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brentnall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brentnall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pryor shoots in but no luck this time. A nice leg kick lands there from Pryor. Brentnall looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brentnall fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Eddie Pryor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Brentnall. Pryor's corner calls for a 1-2. Pryor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Josh Brentnall has been cut. Pryor misses with a takedown so Brentnall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pryor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brentnall's guard. Brentnall pushes Pryor off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pryor fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pryor wants to clinch up but Brentnall keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pryor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brentnall sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pryor somewhat. Pryor is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pryor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A big right from Brentnall misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brentnall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brentnall showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brentnall stands up and beckons Pryor to join him on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Brentnall dominated that round. The cut man is working on Josh Brentnall's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brentnall. Pryor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brentnall's waist but Brentnall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pryor off to one side. Pryor avoids the head kick by Brentnall.
Pryor closes the distance looking to clinch and Brentnall moves into the clinch. Brentnall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick misses from Pryor. Pryor fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pryor darts in trying to clinch and Brentnall counters by moving into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brentnall drags the fight down to the ground.
Pryor trying to control but Brentnall is working from the bottom. Brentnall throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Pryor has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brentnall is proving hard to escape from. Pryor stopping the sweep attempt from Brentnall. Brentnall seems keen to control Pryor's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brentnall manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Brentnall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Brentnall is breathing heavily. Brentnall fails with a takedown attempt. Eddie Pryor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Brentnall. Brentnall misses with a takedown attempt - Pryor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Pryor jabs Brentnall to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pryor tries to clinch but Brentnall moves away and Brentnall holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Pryor swings wildly with an uppercut but Brentnall uses good head movement to avoid it. Pryor is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brentnall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The referee calls for Brentnall to work.
Pryor misses with a knee to the head. Pryor wants a takedown.
Brentnall lands a takedown into guard.
Brentnall stands up over Pryor, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Pryor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brentnall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brentnall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pryor is looking to stand back up but Brentnall counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Pryor. Brentnall stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pryor to get to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Brentnall throws a push kick but Pryor slaps the foot to one side. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pryor tries to keep at a distance but Brentnall has taken the fight into the clinch. A knee to the head by Brentnall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Brentnall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Josh Brentnall's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Nice takedown defense from Pryor. No joy for Brentnall on that attempt. Brentnall closes the distance and clinches. Pryor tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brentnall smiles and moves away.
Pryor tries to clinch and Brentnall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Brentnall rushes Pryor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Pryor goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brentnall prevents it.
Brentnall gets a trip takedown into half guard. Brentnall working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pryor wants to improve his position but Brentnall is controlling well.
Brentnall content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brentnall wants to control but Pryor is keeping him busy. Brentnall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Brentnall prevents Pryor from standing back up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Josh Brentnall has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Brentnall shoots in and bounces Pryor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Brentnall trying to control but Pryor is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brentnall's corner is telling him to maintain position. Brentnall looking to sit in guard and control but Pryor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Brentnall has a closed guard, preventing Pryor from standing up. Brentnall controlling the position. Josh Brentnall has got the better of the ground game so far.

Brentnall goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pryor prevents it.
Pryor is defending well against a takedown attempt. Eddie Pryor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Brentnall. Brentnall successfully pulls guard.

Pryor throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Brentnall is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Brentnall tries to reverse the position but Pryor maintains control. Pryor lands a big shot there that rocks Brentnall but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Eddie Pryor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pryor throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Brentnall because Pryor loaded up on that one. Josh Brentnall is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Brentnall holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Pryor tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Brentnall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Brentnall winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
