Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Whitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan O Reily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitman comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome To The Jungle. O Reily has chosen Jump Around as his entrance music. Ryan O Reily told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ryan O Reily! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.

O Reily lands with a nice body punch. O Reily has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Whitman. O Reily throws a hook to the side of Whitman's head but Whitman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. O Reily fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. O Reily uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Whitman.
Whitman tries to clinch there but O Reily circles away.
O Reily lands a right hook to the body.
O Reily shoots in for a takedown but Whitman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. O Reily works Whitman's body with a nice hook. O Reily throws a body punch but Whitman moves out of range. O Reily lands a nice hook to Whitman's body. Whitman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. O Reily checks a low kick from Whitman. Whitman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

O Reily fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Whitman is out of range. No joy there for Whitman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Whitman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. O Reily misses with a left hand and Whitman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ryan O Reily seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Whitman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from O Reily. Whitman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from O Reily. Whitman ducks under a wild hook from O Reily. O Reily throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
O Reily throws a leg kick that is checked and Whitman counters with a straight punch to the midsection. O Reily throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. O Reily connects with the punch.

O Reily tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Whitman was well out of range. Poor timing from O Reily. O Reily throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Whitman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. O Reily on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. O Reily rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Whitman counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. O Reily is lucky that one didn't land flush. O Reily thows a left - swing and a miss! O Reily swings away with a body shot that misses
and Whitman counters with a leg kick.
O Reily closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Whitman to the mat! Whitman manages to get full guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Whitman working a defensive guard here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! O Reily stopping the sweep attempt from Whitman. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. O Reily slips nicely into half guard.

Whitman managing to control the position. Whitman can't keep his opponent in guard - O Reily advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. O Reily throwing shots but Whitman is blocking nicely.
O Reily maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Whitman could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but O Reily has cracked it and Whitman is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by O Reily!
