The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hossein lands a body shot.
Hossein lands with an uppercut that bounces Jenkins off the cage and back into range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hossein darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jenkins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jenkins wants to clinch up but Hossein keeps it at a distance.
Hossein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jenkins throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hossein counters with a stiff right hand.
Jenkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hossein manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jenkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hossein's waist but Hossein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jenkins off to one side.

That was a close round but I would say that Sadiq Hossein will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jenkins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hossein sprawls well initially but Jenkins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hossein looks like he's trying to stand up.

Jenkins is just content to waste time from the top position. Hossein takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Hossein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hossein steps in with a hook that catches Jenkins right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Hossein follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Jenkins looks absolutely devastated.
