Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Valentino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zell Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dincht has chosen Fanfare as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Giorgio Valentino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zell Dincht!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dincht shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Valentino defends it nicely.
Dincht avoids a punch combination nicely.
Valentino scores with a decent looking hook.
Valentino connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dincht fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dincht defending well as Valentino loads up on a big left hand.
Valentino scores with a jab. Dincht acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Dincht shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Valentino's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Dincht drops back, looking for a kneebar! Valentino looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Valentino looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Valentino!

Dincht is looking for a sweep.
Valentino is staying tight to Dincht's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Dincht is looking to regain half guard here but Valentino keeps moving and retains side control.
Valentino wants to stand but Dincht is controlling his arm.

Valentino is looking to take a break and control but Dincht is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dincht tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Valentino wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Valentino gets to mount! Dincht was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Dincht tries to hold on but Valentino postures up.
Dincht is working to get back to half guard.

Dincht is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Valentino controlling the position easily from mount.
Dincht can't escape the position.
Valentino takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Dincht tries to reverse the position but Valentino maintains control.

Dincht is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Valentino thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Dincht is in all sorts of trouble here.
Valentino wants to control the pace but Dincht is squirming around nicely.
Dincht is looking to improve his position but Valentino isn't that keen on the idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Valentino looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Valentino fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Valentino misses with a double jab.
Giorgio Valentino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dincht shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valentino but Valentino pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Valentino stuns Dincht with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Valentino throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dincht stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dincht tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Valentino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dincht shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Valentino pinned against the cage. Valentino gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Valentino on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dincht. Dincht obviously looking to wear him down.

Dincht shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dincht trying to move into half guard but instead Valentino has managed to sweep!
Dincht is pulling down on Valentino's head. It's preventing any offense from Valentino, at least for the moment.
Valentino won't allow Dincht to sweep him here.
Dincht is trying to keep Valentino in close.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Zell Dincht.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Valentino, as that shot connected.

Valentino thows a left - swing and a miss!
Valentino throws the left hand but Dincht avoids the punch easily.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dincht connects with a body shot that sends Valentino's belly button to the back.
Giorgio Valentino is winning the standup battle so far.
A telegraphed right hand from Valentino misses the target.
Dincht slips a jab from Valentino.
Dincht ducks under a wild hook from Valentino.
Valentino scores with a nice strike.
Dincht fails with a takedown attempt.
Giorgio Valentino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zell Dincht.
Dincht lands with a good body shot.

Valentino takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Valentino is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Valentino throws a quick inside leg kick.
Dincht misses with a lunging right hand
and Valentino counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dincht cracks the inside of Valentino's front leg.
Dincht shoots in for a takedown but Valentino shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dincht fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Valentino manages to avoid it.
Dincht shoots in but Valentino avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Valentino missing with a left hand there. Dincht was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Valentino connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Valentino really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A bone on bone clash there as Dincht blocks the leg kick.

A left lands for Valentino.
Valentino throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dincht takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Valentino misses with a two punch combination.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Valentino lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dincht has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dincht and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Valentino throws a hook to the side of Dincht's head but Dincht sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Valentino is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dincht off and has taken his back!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dincht is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Giorgio Valentino will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Valentino works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Giorgio Valentino is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Valentino lands an overhand right.
Dincht ducks under a wild hook from Valentino.
Dincht fails to land the takedown.
Valentino throws a looping overhand right but Dincht ducks down to avoid it.
Dincht looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Valentino is fending him off so far but Dincht persists. Nope, Valentino circles away and we're back to standing.
Dincht has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dincht there as he acknowledges the shot.

Dincht is still on wobbly legs! Can Valentino finish him?
Valentino cracks Dincht with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Giorgio Valentino!
After winning the bout, Giorgio Valentino thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
