A fine choice. Speed has chosen Tupac. Feat Eminem. Dr.Dre and Biggie- Dont go to sleep as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Speed moves away from the strike by Smith.
Speed looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.

Speed turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Speed lands a slapping body shot.
Smith lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Speed throws a lazy body kick
and Smith counters by moving into the clinch.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Speed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Speed misses with the combination.

Speed takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Speed.
A punch combination from Smith misses.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Speed throws a shot from downtown. Smith moves away and avoids it.
Speed missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Speed shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smith eats them both and turns towards Speed to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Speed clobbers Smith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Speed swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Speed moves out of range easily.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith slips a jab from Speed.

Smith throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Len Speed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Len Speed seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Smith connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Speed is breathing heavily.

Speed thows a body shot but no joy.
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Speed, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Speed against the cage but Speed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Speed. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Speed manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Smith decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Smith feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Speed's calf.

Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Speed manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Smith lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Smith walks into a left hand.
Speed's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Nice defenses there by Smith.
Speed takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith's jab looks to have found its range, popping Speed under the eye.
Speed is rocked!
Smith throws a pinpoint strike between Speed's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Speed crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Smith scores a great knockout victory!
