The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Xpenza.
A looping hook to the body misses from Xpenza. Jackson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Xpenza is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Xpenza misses with a wild body shot.
Xpenza with a nice cross.
Xpenza throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jackson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Xpenza feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jackson sprawling to the canvas! Jackson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Xpenza finish him?!

Xpenza moves into range and clinches up with Jackson.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson is trying to push Xpenza away but Xpenza has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Xpenza lands with a left to the head.
Xpenza stalling against the cage.
Xpenza lands a nice uppercut.
Nice body punch from Xpenza - that landed with a thud.

Xpenza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Xpenza cracks Jackson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jackson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Xpenza pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jackson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
