Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isa Musa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Isa Musa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gerald Walsh! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Musa lands a jab to the head.
Walsh with a poor takedown and Musa counters with a right hand to the body. Musa drives through and clinches with Walsh against the cage.
Walsh pushes off an throws an elbow but Musa leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Musa blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Musa works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Musa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Musa is looking to pass into half guard but Walsh pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Walsh is in guard. Walsh being controlled here momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Musa wants to stand up but Walsh is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Musa keeping moving, preventing Walsh from controlling successfully. Walsh prevents Musa from getting back to his feet.
We're going to have a standup here because Isa Musa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Walsh shoots in but Musa avoids the takedown attempt easily. Musa is looking to clinch. Walsh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Musa swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fighters circle momentarily. Musa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Walsh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Musa.

Walsh tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Musa smiles and moves away.
Isa Musa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gerald Walsh. Musa closes the distance and pushes Walsh back into the cage. Musa gets underhooks to prevent Walsh's takedown attempt.
Musa throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Musa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Musa closes the distance and pushes Walsh back into the cage. Musa has hold of one of Walsh's legs. Walsh is fighting the takedown attempt but Musa gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Walsh has a closed guard, preventing Musa from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walsh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Musa content to stall in guard here. Musa content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Musa wants to stand but Walsh is controlling his posture from full guard. Musa stays in close to Walsh's body and controls the position. Musa lands a couple of digs. Musa lands a couple of decent looking shots. Musa trying to stand up but can't free himself from Walsh's guard. Walsh utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Musa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Musa with a nice head shot there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Musa controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Musa wants to stand but Walsh is controlling his posture from full guard. Musa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Isa Musa. Musa scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Musa is looking to take a break and control but Walsh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Musa working over Walsh with some ground and pound. Walsh looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Musa passes to full mount! Musa lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Musa lands a nice shot to the head. Musa punishing his opponent with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walsh wants to hold on but Musa pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Musa content just to control the position here. Musa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Walsh looks a forlorn figure.
Musa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Musa lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The referee warns Walsh that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Musa controlling from the full mount. Musa is in the full mount, landing strikes. Walsh is bucking up trying to escape but Musa cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh is in a horrible position here. Musa smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Walsh is breathing heavily. Musa with the ground and pound from mount.
Walsh is rocked! Musa postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Walsh out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Musa goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
