Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Gunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Gunner could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ron Burgundy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy Gunner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron Burgundy! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burgundy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gunner as he avoids it easily. Burgundy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gunner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Burgundy is trying to defend but Gunner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Gunner wants to pass to mount but Burgundy is defending the position. Gunner perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gunner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Burgundy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gunner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Randy Gunner just wasn't active enough. Gunner wants to land a leg kick but Burgundy is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burgundy sprawls well. Burgundy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gunner gets slowly back to his feet. Gunner lands with a nice combination. Burgundy backs away looking to recover. Gunner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burgundy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Burgundy is trying to escape the position but Gunner is controlling the position. You can see the frustration on Burgundy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gunner tries to stand but Burgundy is controlling his head. Sloppy strikes there by Gunner.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burgundy prevents Gunner from improving position. Gunner looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Gunner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gunner controlling the position. Gunner decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gunner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Burgundy throws out a loose jab but Gunner uses good head movement to avoid it. Burgundy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Burgundy misses the body punch and Gunner counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Burgundy breaks the clinch.
Gunner doesn't manage to clinch there - Burgundy circles away.
Ron Burgundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gunner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gunner wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunner misses with the combination.
Gunner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gunner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gunner controlling the position. Gunner is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Burgundy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gunner gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Burgundy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gunner lets go of the hold and Burgundy can pop his arm back in it's socket.
