With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Newman!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman throws an off balance right hand
and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Newman cracks a nice hook into Williams's ribs.
Williams uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Newman.
Newman misses with a left hand
letting Williams counter with a right hand.
Newman throws a hook but Williams avoids it easily.
Newman misses with a few strikes there.
Nice cross by Williams.
Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Newman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Williams blocks the leg kick.
Williams slips a straight right by Newman.
Williams moves out of range as Newman throws a body kick.
A jab lands there for Williams.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice defenses there by Williams.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Newman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Newman looks winded!
Williams defending well as Newman loads up on a big left hand.
Williams changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Newman throws out a leg kick but Williams moves out of range and Newman only half commits.
Paul Newman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Williams moves into the clinch.
Williams lands with a right to the head.
Williams lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Williams breaks from the clinch.
Newman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Williams gets a clinch.
Williams lands a right hand that snaps the head of Newman backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Williams turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Remo Williams just wasn't active enough.
Newman misses with a lunging right hand
and Williams counters with a nice uppercut.
Williams fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Williams lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Newman can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Williams and Newman drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Williams.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Remo Williams!
