Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Some by Chevelle. Carter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Red Hot Chili Peppers- Around the World kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricardo Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Carter! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Carter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Carter clinches. Silva doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Carter stalling.
Silva lands a body punch. Silva scores with a shoulder strike. Carter manages to break the clinch.
Carter misses with a few strikes there.

Carter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Carter tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Silva counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva stands up out of Carter's guard for a moment - Carter manages to land a nice upkick. Carter has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Carter, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carter circles away quickly and effectively. Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva. Carter is looking to clinch. Carter closes the distance looking to clinch and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Silva missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Silva gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carter swivels and escapes. Carter scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva misses with a straight right. Carter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva regains half guard. Silva is looking to improve his position.
Carter lands strikes from half guard. Carter not landing any meaningful shots this time. Carter scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Silva is looking to control Carter's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted? Carter is trying to work for a kimura but Silva is defending well.
Silva wants to improve his position but Carter is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Silva is trying to get back to full guard. Silva avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Carter. Carter works his foot free and advances to mount. Silva can't escape the position.
Carter pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Silva can't escape the position.
Carter lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice elbow there by Carter.
Silva is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Silva covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
