Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Safo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rob Zombie - Scum of the earth . The crowd seem to be enjoying Safo's choice of entrance music: Up Your Speed by Sway DaSafo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Safo wants to clinch.
A shot to the liver by Alves. Beautiful body shot.
Alves throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Safo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Alves counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
