The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West throws an overhand right that lands on Wilson's shoulder, as Wilson tries to avoid the shot.

West will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wilson checks a leg kick.

West shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. West showed some decent athleticism there.

West stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Wilson throws up his legs and catches West in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! West tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Wilson! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Lee Wilson!
After the fight, Lee Wilson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
