The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apichino tries to clinch but Bradley moves out of range.
Apichino fails with the takedown
and Bradley counters with a shoot takedown. Apichino fights it but they end up in guard.
Bradley is looking to work some ground and pound but Apichino has wrist control.
Apichino is trying to control the position but Bradley postures up.
Bradley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Apichino's head.
Apichino keeping moving, preventing Bradley from controlling successfully.
Bradley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Apichino's guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bradley connects with a nice short shot to Apichino's temple.
Bradley wants to control but Apichino is keeping him busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bradley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bradley has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Apichino's face.
Bradley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Apichino keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Frankie Apichino's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
