Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Basit Ali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jerry Seinfeld!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seinfeld tries to sprawl but Ali drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Ali is working for a kimura but Seinfeld is defending it quite comfortably.
Ali is just content to waste time from the top position. Seinfeld takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seinfeld preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ali has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ali slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Ali is looking to take a break and control but Seinfeld is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Seinfeld is trying to control Ali's posture but Ali avoids it.

Seinfeld gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Seinfeld has hold of Ali's hands but Ali slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Seinfeld has a hand on Ali's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ali takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Ali looking to control but Seinfeld is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Ali scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Ali lands a big shot there that rocks Seinfeld but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ali fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ali tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seinfeld paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Seinfeld moves into range and clinches up with Ali.
Ali drops down looking for an ankle pick but Seinfeld pulls his leg out and moves away.

Seinfeld clinches up with Ali and pushes him back against the cage.

Ali drops down looking for an ankle pick but Seinfeld pulls his leg out and moves away.
Seinfeld defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ali.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Basit Ali. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That kick from Ali tenderised Seinfeld's leg. Seinfeld is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nice sprawl there from Seinfeld as Ali shoots in.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ali here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

It looks like Basit Ali has been cut.

and Seinfeld counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Ali is countered with a crisp right hand from Seinfeld that sends him to the canvas! Seinfeld follows him to the mat into side control.
Ali is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ali is looking for a sweep.
Seinfeld stands up.
Seinfeld avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ali fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jerry Seinfeld seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Seinfeld throws a head kick but Ali moves out of range.
Ali moves in looking to clinch but Seinfeld pushes him off.
Ali shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Seinfeld as he jumps to the side.
Seinfeld drives through and clinches with Ali against the cage.

Seinfeld is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Ali tightens his grip and picks Seinfeld up, before dumping him to the ground. Seinfeld manages to land in guard.
Ali advances position into side control!
Seinfeld tries to bench press Ali off him but Ali keeps the position.
Seinfeld is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ali off and has taken his back!
I really don't envy Ali right now.
Seinfeld has had enough of the ground game here. He feels he stands a better chance on the feet. Unfortunately for him though, Ali has grabbled a hold of his leg and manages a trip into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Jerry Seinfeld.
