The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matthews dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Raheem. That did some damage!
Matthews looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Matthews uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Raheem.

Matthews closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Raheem lands a right hook to the body.
Matthews takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Matthews shoots in for a takedown but Raheem shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Matthews finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Raheem's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Matthews falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
