Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Ryan Devolder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devolder comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 'I'm A Big Kid Now' kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez stuffs the takedown attempt from Devolder. Devolder gets slowly back to his feet.
Devolder misses with a looping right.
Marquez is looking to clinch.
Devolder shoots in for a takedown but Marquez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Devolder fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bruno Marquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Ryan Devolder.
Devolder dives in and scores a takedown into Marquez's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Devolder is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Devolder drops back, looking for a kneebar! Marquez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Marquez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Marquez!
Marquez tries to stand but Devolder is controlling his head.
Devolder is looking for a sweep.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Devolder gets back to half guard.
Marquez prevents Devolder from improving his position.
Devolder moves into full guard.
Devolder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marquez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Marquez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Devolder has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Marquez has managed to get both his arms back between Devolder's legs - danger averted.
Devolder has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Marquez has passed into side control.

Devolder is trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Devolder is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Devolder manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Devolder seems to be working for a kimura but Marquez defends the submission attempt.
Marquez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marquez.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Devolder is pushing down on Marquez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Marquez is fighting to maintain full guard but Devolder has managed to sneak the leg through.
Devolder wants to work for an arm triangle but Marquez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Devolder is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Marquez has managed to free his arm - good work.

Marquez wants to get back to his feet.
Marquez won't allow Devolder to pass to mount.
Devolder is looking for a kimura but Marquez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Devolder to get the leverage.
Marquez tries to kick Devolder off but Devolder keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Devolder is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marquez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Devolder.

Devolder is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marquez defends it well.
Devolder tries to pass the half guard into mount. Marquez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Devolder is working for a submission of some sort.
Devolder is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marquez tries to roll over but Devolder keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Devolder gets tackled into the cage by Marquez. Marquez maintains the clinch.
Devolder blocks an uppercut.
Devolder has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Marquez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Marquez breaks the clinch.
Devolder misses with a looping left.
Nice sprawl there from Marquez as Devolder shoots in.
Marquez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marquez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Devolder, pushing him back against the cage.
Devolder blocking some punches.
Marquez lands a shoulder strike.
Devolder lands a takedown into guard.
Marquez trying to control the position.
Marquez is looking to stand up but Devolder isn't so interested in that idea.

Devolder tries to free his leg and advance position but Marquez is retaining full guard.
Devolder prevents Marquez from getting back to his feet.
Devolder pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marquez is keeping the position for now.
Devolder drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Devolder jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Marquez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Devolder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marquez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Devolder forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Devolder passes the guard and advances to mount!
Marquez defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Devolder.
Marquez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marquez tries to get out of the position.
Devolder has control of Marquez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Marquez regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Devolder jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Marquez is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Marquez and Devolder has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Devolder thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Devolder misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Devolder tries to move to mount but Marquez blocks the move with his legs.
Marquez is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Devolder is controlling him well.
Devolder working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Devolder is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Marquez is trying to escape and Devolder transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Marquez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Devolder! Very nice indeed!
