Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Demetrius Colrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blink Deathgrip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Deathgrip's choice of entrance music: Berserker. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deathgrip will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Colrane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Deathgrip sprawls well initially but Colrane persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Colrane wants to work for an arm triangle but Deathgrip is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Colrane throwing shots but Deathgrip is blocking nicely.
Deathgrip is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Colrane's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Colrane's back!
Deathgrip is looking to control Colrane but Colrane is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Deathgrip lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Colrane is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The referee is taking a good look at Colrane as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Deathgrip!
Colrane rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Deathgrip looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Colrane with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Deathgrip throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Colrane is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Deathgrip scores with a couple of nice shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Deathgrip lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Colrane tries to roll over but Deathgrip keeps him under control.
Deathgrip is trying for a kimura here. Colrane looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Deathgrip wins by kimura!

After winning the bout, Blink Deathgrip thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
