The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergasmarchi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bergasmarchi checks a leg kick.
Cullen misses with an uppercut. Bergasmarchi saw that one coming.
Cullen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cullen.
Cullen delivers a nice body kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cullen, right into the meat.
Cullen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cullen misses with a lunging right hand
and Bergasmarchi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bergasmarchi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cullen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bergasmarchi tries to free his leg and advance position but Cullen is retaining full guard.
Bergasmarchi trying to control but Cullen is working from the bottom.
Bergasmarchi is pushing down on Cullen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cullen is fighting to maintain full guard but Bergasmarchi has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bergasmarchi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Cullen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cullen avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bergasmarchi.
Bergasmarchi fails to move to back control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cullen is working to get back to half guard.

Cullen is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Bergasmarchi locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Cullen is forced to tap!
