Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luis Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luis Fierro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Worner!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Worner moves into the clinch.
Worner is trying to break the clinch but Fierro is controlling him.
Fierro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Worner wants a takedown but no success here.
Fierro is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Worner pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Fierro goes for a takedown in the clinch but Worner prevents it.
Worner is trying to maintain a safe position but Fierro gets an underhook and turns Worner into the cage.
Fierro has Worner pressed against the cage, preventing Worner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Worner lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Fierro breaks the clinch.
Worner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Worner shoots in looking for a takedown but Fierro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Worner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Worner falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Fierro to counter with a crisp jab.
Worner tries a head kick but it misses.
Fierro lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Worner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fierro is trying to defend but Worner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Worner tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Fierro.
Fierro wants to improve his position but Worner is controlling well.

Worner wants to pass the guard but Fierro is defending well.

Worner is working for a kimura but Fierro is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Worner thows a huge punch but Fierro dodges it nicely.

Worner tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Worner stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Worner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fierro swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fierro misses with a looping right.

Fierro closes the distance and pushes Worner back into the cage.
Fierro gets underhooks to prevent Worner's takedown attempt.
Luis Fierro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Worner.
Worner is looking to take this one to the mat.
Worner gets underhooks to prevent Fierro's takedown attempt.

Fierro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fierro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Worner.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fierro clinches up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Austin Worner will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


The fight stays on the outside here - Worner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Worner throws out a leg kick but Fierro moves out of range and Worner only half commits.
Worner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fierro paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Worner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fierro throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sloppy strikes from Fierro. Those never looked like landing.
Worner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fierro's waist but Fierro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Worner off to one side.

Worner tries to clinch there but Fierro circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fierro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Worner.
Worner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fierro is fending him off so far but Worner persists. Nope, Fierro circles away and we're back to standing.
Worner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fierro sprawls well. Fierro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Worner gets slowly back to his feet.
Luis Fierro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Worner.
Worner tries to close the distance and clinch but Fierro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Austin Worner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Worner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Worner lands in his opponent's guard.
Fierro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Worner is one step ahead there.

Worner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Worner trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fierro's guard.
Worner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Worner wanted to stand there but Fierro had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Austin Worner has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Worner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fierro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Worner somewhat.
Fierro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Worner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Worner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Worner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fierro tries to avoid it but Worner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fierro to the ground. Fierro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Worner throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Fierro tests Worner's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Worner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Worner is breathing heavily.
Worner scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fierro in his tracks.
Fierro's corner calls for a 1-2. Fierro obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Worner scores with a body shot.
Fierro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Worner dives in and grabs Fierro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fierro pushes down on Worner's head and hops out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice sprawl there from Fierro as Worner shoots in.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin Worner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and Fierro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Worner shoots for a takedown but Fierro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fierro scores with a nice head shot.


Worner is rocked!
Fierro cracks Worner with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Worner tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Fierro pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Worner is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luis Fierro!
