Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunder comes to the cage accompanied by Bread Got Bun. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Thunder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clay Barnett! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder shoots in for a takedown but Barnett shows good takedown defense. Thunder misses with a takedown attempt - Barnett sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Barnett stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Thunder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Barnett. Barnett wants to control but Thunder is keeping him busy. Thunder prevents Barnett from improving position. Thunder tries to improve position but can't. Barnett decides to stand up, so the ref orders Thunder to his feet. Thunder is breathing heavily. Thunder tries for a takedown but Barnett circles away easily and Barnett decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Thunder's guard. Thunder can't keep his opponent in guard - Barnett advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnett sitting and controlling from the half guard. Barnett is thwarting Thunder's attempts to control the position. Barnett decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Barnett tries to clinch up but Thunder circles away and keeps his distance. Barnett clobbers Thunder with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Barnett scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Barnett wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thunder, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thunder wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Barnett tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barnett has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Thunder is trying to control Barnett's posture but Barnett avoids it. Barnett misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnett scoring with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barnett stands up and beckons Thunder to his feet. Barnett changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thunder looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Thunder is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Barnett stands up. Thunder moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barnett wants a takedown.
Barnett wants to get back to striking at distance but Thunder won't allow it.
Thunder jumps guard and drags Barnett to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Barnett stands and throws Thunder's legs to the side, diving into side control. Barnett stands up and beckons Thunder to his feet. Thunder decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thunder content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Thunder thows a huge punch but Barnett dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clay Barnett dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Barnett shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Barnett thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Thunder trying to control the position here. Thunder throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Barnett stays in close to Thunder's body and controls the position. Thunder can't keep his opponent in guard - Barnett advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Barnett passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Thunder is looking to improve his position but Barnett isn't that keen on the idea. Barnett dominating with strikes here. Thunder is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thunder tries to hold on but Barnett pushes him away. Barnett wants to finish this one by submission but Thunder is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Barnett. Barnett stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thunder pushes Barnett up against the cage in a clinch. A short right from Barnett on the inside. Barnett jumps into guard, dragging Thunder to the mat.
Barnett is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Barnett controlling the pace. Thunder is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnett missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Barnett seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Thunder is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
