Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Pearsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spencer has chosen Ride Of The Valkyries - Richard Wagner as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearsen on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Spencer fails with a takedown attempt.
Spencer gets tackled into the cage by Pearsen. Pearsen maintains the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Pearsen.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pearsen.
It looks like Mark Spencer has been cut.
Pearsen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Spencers head.
Spencer tries to pull guard but Pearsen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Spencer goes for a takedown attempt but Pearsen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mitchell Pearsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Spencer.
Pearsen stuffs the takedown.
Pearsen clinches.

Pearsen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pearsen stands and steps away. Spencer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Pearsen counters with a left to the body.
Nice defenses there by Pearsen.
Spencer misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Pearsen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Spencer shoots in looking for a takedown but Pearsen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Spencer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Spencer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pearsen is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Spencer throws a head kick that misses.
Spencer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pearsen as he avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Pearsen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pearsen lands a right hook to the body.
Pearsen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Spencer.
Pearsen connects with a right hand. Spencer shakes it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Spencer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mitchell Pearsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Pearsen wants to clinch.
A low kick from Spencer is predictable there
and Pearsen counters with a left right combination that sends Spencer crashing to the mat - Pearsen wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Spencer out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
