The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
james throws a head kick that misses.
Slice lands a high kick to the side of james's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Slice dives into guard, looking to finish.

james is rocked!

It looks like Rick james has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of james is proving hard to escape from.
james is still in real trouble! Can Slice finish him?
james seems to have recovered his senses.
james manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slice manages to get himself to full guard.
james slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
james tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Slice is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Slice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for james on the ground.
Slice is breathing heavily.

Slice is trying to stand but he's just given james his back.
