Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chael Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lleyton Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chael Hart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lleyton Hammer! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer tries to clinch but Hart moves out of range. Hammer misses with a takedown attempt - Hart sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hammer tries to clinch but Hart is having none of it. Hammer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hart's half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hart wants to control but Hammer is keeping busy.
Hammer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hart controlling the position well. Hart slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Chael Hart has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hart fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hammer sprawls well initially but Hart persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hammer is looking for a sweep. Hart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Still in half guard, Hart seems content to control. Hart wants to free his trapped foot but Hammer is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hart performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hart seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hammer for as long as he can get away with.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chael Hart. Hammer has his takedown stuffed so Hart counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. This has been an exciting period of action! Hart controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hammer has eaten all the pies!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hart engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Chael Hart wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hart shoots for a double leg takedown but Hammer sprawls well. He's pushed Hart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hammer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammer tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hart counters by moving into the clinch. Hart pulls guard successfully.
Hart pulls Hammer in close to his closed guard and prevents Hammer from doing any damage or advancing position. Hart keeping moving, preventing Hammer from controlling successfully. Hart is pulling down on Hammer's head. It's preventing any offense from Hammer, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hart is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chael Hart dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hart stuffs the takedown attempt from Hammer. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet. Hammer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hart counters with a shoot takedown. Hammer fights it but they end up in guard. Hart sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hart is looking to work some ground and pound but Hammer has wrist control. Hammer wants to sweep but no luck. Hammer wants to hit a switch here but Hart passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Hammer there! Hart sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hart thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Hart controlling the pace for now. Hart throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Hart working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hart is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hammer can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammer avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hart.
Hart looking to control and managing it successfully. Hart is stalling here but it's allowed Hammer to get half guard.
Hart perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hammer slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer wants to stand and escape but Hart is having none of it. Hart in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hart's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chael Hart. Hart closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hammer did well to prevent Hart getting side control. Hart is controlling the pace.
Hart is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hammer has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hart is figuring out what he wants to do next. Hammer tries to roll over but Hart keeps him under control. Hart stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chael Hart dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hart shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Hammer trying to hold on to Hart's head to control him but Hart postures up.
Still in half guard, Hart seems content to control. Hart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hart.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hart waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hammer. Nice takedown defense from Hammer. No joy for Hart on that attempt. Hart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hammer manages to avoid it. Hart shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hammer fails with the takedown and Hart counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hart. Hart is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hart works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hammer pushes Hart off looking to stand but Hart dives back in and keeps control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hammer can do anything to dispel that myth. Hammer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hart not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hart is controlling the pace.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammer tries to kick Hart off but Hart keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hammer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hart. Hart looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hart throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hart seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hammer is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
