Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Mikhalok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikhalok comes to the cage accompanied by Ты ни при чём?. Wooten has chosen The Fourth Night of My Drinking by The Drive-By Truckers as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Sergey Mikhalok has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sergey Mikhalok seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergey Mikhalok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Wooten! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mikhalok tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wooten manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mikhalok rushes Wooten and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wooten tries to score a body lock takedown but Mikhalok shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mikhalok's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sergey Mikhalok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mikhalok throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wooten's waist but Wooten gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mikhalok off to one side. Mikhalok looks for a takedown but Wooten sprawls well. Mikhalok darts in and clinches Wooten up against the cage. Wooten pulls Mikhalok into guard.

Wooten has a closed guard, preventing Mikhalok from standing up. Mikhalok wants to stand and escape but instead Wooten has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Mikhalok wants to get back to his feet but Wooten is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wooten passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Mikhalok is doing well to control the position and prevent Wooten from advancing to side control. Wooten prevents Mikhalok from standing back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergey Mikhalok will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mikhalok shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mikhalok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Nice strikes from Mikhalok there. Mikhalok is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Wooten is breathing heavily. Mikhalok decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

That must have hurt him. Mikhalok fails with the takedown. Wooten feints and as Mikhalok raises his hands in defense, Wooten changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Mikhalok is looking to stand up but Wooten isn't so interested in that idea. Wooten scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Mikhalok looking to control.

Wooten won't allow Mikhalok to get back to his feet. Mikhalok escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wooten gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A punch combination from Mikhalok misses. Wooten fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mikhalok checks it well. Mikhalok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wooten sprawls well. Wooten wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mikhalok gets slowly back to his feet. Mikhalok displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wooten. Mikhalok misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooten lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mikhalok! Wooten jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mikhalok is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mikhalok and Wooten has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Mikhalok is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sergey Mikhalok is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wooten swings around for an armbar but Mikhalok sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wooten's guard.
