Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Robson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is My Opponent is a Infidel. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Rabbit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Robson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rabbit shoots in but no luck this time. Rabbit closes the distance and clinches up with Robson, looking for a takedown. Rabbit pushes Robson against the cage but Robson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Robson moves in looking to clinch but Rabbit pushes him off. Robson avoids the head kick by Rabbit.
Robson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rabbit to the mat! Rabbit manages to get full guard. Rabbit working for a triangle but Robson defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rabbit preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rabbit looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Robson has picked Rabbit up and slammed him! Rabbit can't keep hold of the triangle and Robson manages to pass to side control! Rabbit struggling a bit here. Robson working the ground and pound but Rabbit is defending the strikes. Rabbit is looking to reverse the position. Robson gets to mount! Rabbit was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Robson struggling to land strikes to the head as Rabbit covers up. Robson not allowing Rabbit to control his hands. Robson keeps control of the position as Rabbit tries to break free.
Rabbit tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Robson manages to capitalize on a mistake by Rabbit to take his back! Rabbit rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Nathan Robson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rabbit with a lazy takedown attempt and Robson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Rabbit with a poor takedown and Robson counters with a right hand to the body. Rabbit with a poor takedown and Robson counters with a good, hard body kick but Rabbit shrugs it off. Rabbit gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Robson counters with a stiff right hand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rabbit looking to shoot here. Rabbit is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Rabbit wants to control from the top but Robson keeps moving. Rabbit has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rabbit throwing strikes from guard but Robson blocks nicely. Robson tries to strike from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Robson keeping moving, preventing Rabbit from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Robson. Rabbit misses with a takedown and Robson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Robson throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rabbit wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Robson is now in half guard. Robson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rabbit trying to control here.
Robson is trying to work for a kimura but Rabbit is defending well.
Rabbit is pressing down on Robson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rabbit doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rabbit looking for a sweep. Not yet Rabbit, not yet. Rabbit not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rabbit wants to control the position but Robson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Rabbit is looking to get back to full guard here but Robson has managed to pass to side control instead. Rabbit gives up his back whilst trying to strike.

Nathan Robson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Rabbit has his takedown stuffed and Robson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Robson. Robson goes for a takedown attempt but Rabbit pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Robson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rabbit gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Robson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Rabbit. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rabbit with a lazy takedown attempt and Robson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Rabbit misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robson throws a right and a left that Rabbit avoids nicely. Robson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rabbit swivels and escapes. Robson ducks under a wild hook from Rabbit. Rabbit shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Robson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Robson misses with a takedown attempt - Rabbit sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rabbit doesn't succeed with the takedown and Robson counters with a left and a right that hurts Rabbit! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Robson jumps into full mount!
Rabbit is rocked! Rabbit tries to improve his position but instead Robson has taken his back! Rabbit manages to reverse the position and now he's in Robson's guard. Nice work there by Rabbit.

And that's the end of the fight! Nathan Robson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Robson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
