Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Karol Naizdup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Hay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Naizdup kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Demsi - Moc i siła mięśni. Hay has chosen Tede - Glokk as his entrance music. Karol Naizdup has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Hay with that takedown attempt.
Naizdup tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hay swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Naizdup tries to clinch there but Hay circles away.
Hay tries for a takedown but Naizdup sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hay dives in and grabs Naizdup's left leg, looking for a takedown. Naizdup pushes down on Hay's head and hops out.
Naizdup doesn't manage to clinch there - Hay circles away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Naizdup is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Naizdup fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Naizdup lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Naizdup connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hay's face.

Naizdup escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Naizdup did well to prevent Hay getting side control.
Hay stops Naizdup from getting back to his feet.
Naizdup is breathing heavily.

Hay looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hay prevents Naizdup from standing back up.

Hay is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hay looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hay is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Naizdup has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Karol Naizdup will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hay looks for a takedown but Naizdup sprawls well.

Hay shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hay was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Naizdup is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Hay asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Hay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hay is trying to get an arm triangle but Naizdup is defending well.

Hay tries for a kimura but Naizdup is defending well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hay has hold of Naizdup's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Naizdup seems comfortable defending it but Hay has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Naizdup is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Naizdup is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hay couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nick Hay!
