Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pizdowsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Martins is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Martins fails to pull guard.
Martins unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Martins is trying to push Pizdowsky away but Pizdowsky has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Martins working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Pizdowsky keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Martins's efforts to push away.
Pizdowsky has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Martins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pizdowsky is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Martins to keep the fight standing.
Pizdowsky jumps guard but Martins turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Wander Martins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Pizdowsky.
Martins's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Martins tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pizdowsky looking to stall.
Pizdowsky gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Martins.
Pizdowsky tries to land knees in the clinch but Martins avoids the damage to the body.
Pizdowsky is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Martins breaks the clinch.
Pizdowsky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Martins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pizdowsky connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Martins some visible discomfort.
Pizdowsky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Martins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Martins takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Martins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pizdowsky creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pizdowsky grinds an elbow into Martins's temple.
Pizdowsky lands a few punches from side control.
Pizdowsky scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Martins is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Pizdowsky can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Pizdowsky!
Our winner, Matt Pizdowsky, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
