2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sawyer Hume! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hume throws the left hand but Jalz avoids the punch easily. Hume fails to land with a series of punches.
Jalz cracks a nice hook into Hume's ribs. Jalz has Hume up against the cage in a clinch.

Jalz lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Sawyer Hume has been cut. Jalz throws a knee to the head but misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hume lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hume lands a nice shot to the body. Jalz tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hume blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hume lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jalz backwards. A nice left hand lands by Hume.

Jalz throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hume blocks it with crossed arms. Jalz is breathing heavily. Hume dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Jalz tries to land knees in the clinch but Hume avoids the damage to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Jalz misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hume.

Hume digs a right hand into Jalz's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jalz's gas tank. Jalz tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Hume gets through Jalz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Hume lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A short left from Hume. Hume dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Jalz trying to land knees to the body.
Hume cracks Jalz with a nice body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hume drops Jalz onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jalz is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hume lands with a short shot to the head.
Jalz is rocked! Hume stalling.
Oh Jalz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hume lands on the inside with an uppercut. Hume pushes Jalz against the cage. Hume is working some dirty boxing. Hume pushes off with a quick right hook! Jalz goes down! Jalz tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Hume moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sawyer Hume!
