The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cierra takes a swing at Pei's ribcage but misses.
Cierra tries to land a leg kick but Pei saw it coming and moves away.
Pei misses with an uppercut. Cierra saw that one coming.
Pei lands a nice shot to the body.
Cierra misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pei.

Pei scores with a hook to the body. Cierra takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cierra gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cierra takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Carlos Cierra's cut is getting worse.

Pei throws a hook but Cierra avoids it easily.
Pei scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Pei cracks Cierra with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pei has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cierra to stand back up!
Cierra is breathing heavily.
Cierra walks straight into a right hand from Pei - that's dropped him! Pei jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cierra from any more punishment! Cierra complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
