Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Ward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bo Scott!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ward has managed to clinch.

Scott fails to pull guard.

Scott tries for a takedown. No joy.
Noah Ward has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Scott.
Ward is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Ward landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Scott jumps guard but Ward stands there with Scott around his waist. Scott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Scott tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ward just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ward tries to clinch up but Scott circles away and keeps his distance.

Scott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Scott is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Ward looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scott works his way into full mount!
Scott wants to take his opponent's back but Ward doesn't allow it.
Scott can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ward is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Scott forces the positional change into back control.

Scott looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Ward is controlling Scott 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Ward is looking to stand up but Scott won't let him.

Scott looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ward has picked Scott up and slammed him! Scott can't keep hold of the triangle and Ward manages to pass to side control!

Scott bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Scott fails to land the takedown.
Ward stuffs the takedown attempt from Scott. Scott gets slowly back to his feet.
Scott looks gassed!

Scott looks for a takedown but Ward sprawls well.
Scott circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ward pinned against the cage. Ward gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Scott fails to land the takedown.
Ward tries to clinch there but Scott circles away.
Ward wants to clinch.
Ward tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scott paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ward fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ward goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Scott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ward is fending him off so far but Scott persists. Nope, Ward circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Noah Ward will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Ward keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Some wild striking there from Ward.
Ward throws a series of strikes that have Scott backpedaling.


Scott is rocked!
Ward wants to clinch up but Scott keeps it at a distance.
Scott fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Noah Ward is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Scott uses his free foot to push down on Ward's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ward.

Scott moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ward has worked his arm free - good work by Ward!
Scott controls the position from side control.
Ward knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scott on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Scott swings around for an armbar but Ward sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Scott's guard.

Scott is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ward doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ward manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Scott trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Ward avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ward decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Scott avoids the head kick by Ward.

Scott closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Scott is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ward has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ward is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Scott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ward knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Scott is looking to take a break and control but Ward is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Scott advances nicely into full mount.

Scott jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ward manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Bo Scott has got the better of the ground game so far.

Scott has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ward is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Scott yanks on the arm and Ward is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Scott.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bo Scott!
