Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez comes to the cage accompanied by Kill The Noise Pt. 1. Hendricks is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by $50 and a flask of crown. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johny Hendricks! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hendricks goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Excellent takedown into side control there by Perez. Hendricks throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! This has been an exciting period of action! Hendricks misses with a combination
and Hendricks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Perez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hendricks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Perez sprawls well initially but Hendricks persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hendricks winds up and cracks Perez with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Perez is looking to control Hendricks's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Perez avoid being mounted? Hendricks wants to stand but Perez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Perez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hendricks. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hendricks drops an elbow to the side of Perez's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hendricks's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hendricks's back! Hendricks controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Perez sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Hendricks taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Juan Perez! During a confident post fight interview, Juan Perez thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
