The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen misses with a hook to the body
enabling Casey to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Wanderlei Sonnen has been cut.
Sonnen throws a lazy head kick
and Casey counters with a left to the body.
A shot to the liver by Casey. Beautiful body shot.
Casey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sonnen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Casey to counter with a crisp jab.
Sonnen is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Casey lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Sonnen head around and knocks him out cold! Casey hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
