Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Krazy Horse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Barboza! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Barboza does it's job there. Barboza fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Krazy Horse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Barboza fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Krazy Horse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barboza. Barboza lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Krazy Horse is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Krazy Horse misses with an uppercut
and Barboza connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A jab lands there for Barboza. Krazy Horse drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Barboza uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Krazy Horse. Barboza jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Barboza tests Krazy Horse's chin there with a solid looking shot. Barboza throws a nice looking combination but Krazy Horse bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barboza moves out of range as Krazy Horse strikes. Good exchange - Barboza coming out on top. Barboza uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Krazy Horse has time to react. Barboza connects with a jab. Barboza pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Krazy Horse back to the cage. Barboza follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Jab, jab by Barboza - just one landing. Barboza showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Krazy Horse.
Krazy Horse throws a body kick that misses. Barboza might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Krazy Horse takes a swing at Barboza's ribcage but misses. Barboza is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Krazy Horse had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Krazy Horse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barboza moves away. Tyler Krazy Horse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barboza jabs Krazy Horse right on the nose. Krazy Horse blinks but takes it well. Krazy Horse tries a low kick but Barboza avoids it. Krazy Horse misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krazy Horse is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krazy Horse misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barboza scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Krazy Horse doesn't seem bothered though. Krazy Horse takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Krazy Horse takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Krazy Horse with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barboza to score with a decent uppercut. Barboza with a jab. Krazy Horse misses with a body kick. Krazy Horse misses with a combination
and Barboza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Krazy Horse is rocked! Barboza works the jab nicely. Oh Krazy Horse is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Barboza throws an overhand right that drops Krazy Horse like a sack of potatoes! Barboza dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Junior Barboza!
