The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutko missing with a left hand there. Payton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nice uppercut lands for Payton. That snapped Dutko's head back.
It looks like Bob Dutko has been cut.
Payton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dutko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Payton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dutko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Dutko throws a body punch but Payton moves out of range.
Dutko closes the distance and clinches up with Payton, looking for a takedown. Dutko pushes Payton against the cage but Payton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dutko lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Payton down.

Dutko is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Dutko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Payton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dutko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Payton wants to stand but Dutko is controlling his posture from full guard.
Dutko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Payton!

BOOM! Dutko connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dutko cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kevin Payton's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Dutko cracks Payton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jeez, Kevin Payton's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kevin Payton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
