Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Folignus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Folignus comes to the cage accompanied by Laces Out. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Folignus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Robinson finds it's way round the side to connect with Folignus's head.
Robinson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Folignus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Folignus gets tackled into the cage by Robinson . Robinson maintains the clinch.

Robinson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Allen Robinson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Robinson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Robinson wants to stand up but Folignus is controlling him.

Folignus stands and throws Robinson 's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Folignus wants to control the pace but Robinson is squirming around nicely.
Folignus has hold of Robinson 's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Robinson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Robinson tries to reverse the position but Folignus maintains control.

Folignus looking to control but Robinson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Folignus.
I think Robinson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
