Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Assman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LeBron Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Assman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, LeBron Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Assman off to one side.

Assman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Johnson wants to control but Assman postures up.
Johnson is looking for a sweep.
Johnson regains half guard.

Johnson desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Assman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Johnson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Johnson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Johnson.

Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Johnson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Assman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
No luck for Assman with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Assman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Assman is breathing heavily.
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Assman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Assman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Assman is rocked!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Assman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Oh Assman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Assman drops his hands momentarily. Johnson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Assman staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Assman doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
