Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Jorgenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Boans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorgenson comes to the cage accompanied by Made You Look by Nas. Boans has chosen Round and Round by Ratt as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boans stuffs the takedown attempt from Jorgenson. Jorgenson gets slowly back to his feet.
Boans takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Jon Boans has been cut.
The fighters circling - Jorgenson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boans wants to clinch.
Jorgenson connects with a nice looking jab.
Both fighters circling a little - Boans finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boans fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jorgenson avoids it really well and circles away.
Jorgenson just misses with a punch to the body.
Jorgenson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boans.

Boans misses with a looping left.
Boans shoots in for a takedown but Jorgenson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jorgenson dives in and scores a takedown into Boans's guard.
Jorgenson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jorgenson stalling away here and it's allowed Boans to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Boans wants to get back to his feet but Jorgenson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boans can do anything to dispel that myth.
Boans is looking to stand up but Jorgenson isn't so interested in that idea.

Jorgenson has gone for a leg lock! Boans slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jorgenson's guard.
Boans with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Boans trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jorgenson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Boans is defending well. Jorgenson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Boans has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jorgenson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Spencer Jorgenson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
