Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zachery Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuji Rikidozan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Zachery Rey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Katsuji Rikidozan! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rikidozan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Rikidozan lands a jab to Rey's midsection. The fight stays on the outside here - Rey looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rey uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rikidozan. Rey thows a body shot but no joy. Rey thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rikidozan if he has to take too many more of those.
Rikidozan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rey moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Rikidozan throws a sloppy head kick and Rey makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rikidozan gets tackled into the cage by Rey. Rey maintains the clinch. Rey is looking to clinch. Rey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rikidozan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Rey. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rey. Rikidozan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rey's calf. Zachery Rey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rikidozan. Rey moves into the clinch. Rey using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Rikidozan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rey backwards. Rey misses with a knee to the head. Rikidozan tries to break the clinch but Rey is controlling the position. Rey tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Rikidozan as Rey tries to tie him up. Rey seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Rikidozan is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment. Rey slows down the pace here.

Rikidozan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rey has him pressed against the cage. Rey lands a knee to the head.

Rey keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rikidozan's efforts to push away. Rey tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rikidozan avoids it. Rey is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rikidozan is keeping busy. Rikidozan blocks an elbow strike. Rikidozan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rikidozan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Rey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rikidozan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rikidozan ducks under a wild hook from Rey. Rikidozan misses with a looping left. That's four minutes gone in the round. Rikidozan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rey. Rey stuns Rikidozan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Rey jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rikidozan throws a looping overhand right but Rey ducks down to avoid it. Rikidozan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rikidozan throws a lazy body kick and Rey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Rey tries to close the distance and clinch but Rikidozan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rikidozan loads up on a big right hand but Rey slips the punch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rey throws a combination. Rikidozan tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Rey swinging wildly here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zachery Rey will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Katsuji Rikidozan's cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rikidozan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Rey throws a jab but it's blocked by Rikidozan. Rey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rikidozan. That did some damage! Rey avoids the body shot from Rikidozan.

Rey will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rikidozan up against the cage. Rey presses Rikidozan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Rikidozan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rey has him pressed against the cage. Rikidozan manages to break the clinch.
