Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armando Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Salvation by The Cranberries as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Armando Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricardo Silva! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes clinches. Silva drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Reyes works over Silva with some ground and pound from guard. Silva looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Reyes's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Reyes chips away with some ground and pound. Reyes wanted to stand there but Silva had control of the position. Reyes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Reyes wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva controls Reyes momentarily but Reyes frees himself. Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Reyes defends well. Reyes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reyes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva pushes a forearm under Reyes's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Reyes is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
